PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

After a highly successful 2023 spring season, Troy Swim Coach, Summer Driessen, is back and ready to continue training our student-athletes during her intensive swim camp session running July 10th through July 22nd.

Registration is officially open, and all enrollees must register by midnight, June 17th, 2023. Student-athletes are also required to complete and submit their Athletic Clearance to Troy High School's Athletic Department prior to the July 10th start date. Please take care of this ASAP, as athletes will not be able to participate in camp if Coach does not receive the approval from our AD prior to July 10th.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The two week intensive training session which Coach Driessen strongly encourages all prospective and existing swim team members attend. Each day, swimmers will start the day with an hour of dry land training to improve overall performance, followed by either aerobic, endurance, strength, or speed training in the pool.

The last day of the session will be an Intrasquad meet that participants can use as their tryout times. Please be advised, attending swim camp does not guarantee you a spot on the Spring 2024 swim team. Tryouts are held in November and December. All new and returning student-athletes are required to tryout for the team each year.

Once you have processed your contribution, you will automatically be directed to our Troy Swim & Dive Summer Registration form. DO NOT CLOSE YOUR BROWSER as this must be returned in order for you to be considered registered and officially enrolled in the program. 

Upon receipt of payment, you will receive a link to Troy High School's Registration Form. Please be sure to fill out and submit the form to complete the check out process.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

REQUIRED GEAR :: This season Coach Driessen is requiring each athlete to bring fins and snorkel in addition to goggles, suit, and swim cap each day. Please arrive in athletic wear and running shoes as the first part of the session is devoted to dryland training.

GEAR: Fins and snorkels, in addition to goggles, extra suits, TROY Tech Suits, and TROY swim caps, and warm up suits are also conveniently available for purchase through our online Team Store.

INTERSQUAD MEET: Taking place Saturday, July 22nd, the intrasquad meet can also be used as your tryout time. Please be advised, attending swim camp does not guarantee you a spot on the Spring 2024 swim team. All new and returning student-athletes are required to try out for the 2024 season.
