Swimmers and Divers Celebrate Senior Night with Dinner on Deck Courtesy of Lazy Dog Restaurant

The swimmers and divers of Troy High School came together to celebrate Senior Night in a special "Dinner on Deck" event, courtesy of Lazy Dog Restaurant in Brea. This heartwarming celebration honored the senior members of the Swim and Dive team following the Sunny Hills Swim Meet on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, marking their last home meet at Troy High School.

Senior Night holds a special significance for the student-athletes, their families, and the entire Troy High School community, as it provides an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the dedication and achievements of the senior members of the team. Friends and family gathered to pay tribute to these outstanding athletes, expressing gratitude for their contributions to the team over the years.

Following a mid-meet presentation honoring the senior Warriors, Lazy Dog Restaurant of Brea hosted a "Dinner on Deck" SENIOR SEND-OFF. Athletes, teammates, and their loved ones stayed on deck after the meet to enjoy a memorable team bonding experience.

"We wanted to create a special and meaningful experience for Troy Swim & Dive's senior athletes as they mark the end of their high school swim and dive careers," said General Manager of Lazy Dog Brea. "The Dinner on Deck celebration provided an opportunity for our team and theirs to come together as they share memories, and celebrate the accomplishments of the seniors."

Lazy Dog Restaurant generously provided a delicious selection of pastas, sandwiches, and salads for the athletes' enjoyment, adding to the festive atmosphere of the evening.

"We are grateful to Lazy Dog Restaurant for their support in making this event possible," added Swim & Dive VP, Nicole Standley. "Their generosity and hospitality helped create a lasting memory for our athletes and their families."
