Troy High School's Swim & Dive Program Celebrates Success at Annual Awards Banquet

The student-athletes of Troy High School's Swim & Dive program, along with their families, coaching staff, and supporters, gathered at Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton for the annual end-of-season Awards Banquet on May 16, 2023. Hosted by the Troy Aquatics Booster Association, the event celebrated the achievements and successes of the team during the 2023 Championship season, under the exemplary leadership of Head Coach, Summer Driessen.

At the Awards Banquet, attendees enjoyed a sit-down dinner and an inspiring awards presentation honoring the hard work and dedication of the student-athletes.

Among the highlights of the evening were the recognition of standout performers such as Kaylee Gong and Kevin Yum (Varsity MVPs) and Aaron Samidan for Dive, Anya Pramanick and Ryan Qi (JV MVPs), Benji Lee and Jacob Pan (Frosh | Soph MVPs), Theo Sohn and Eileen Seo (Varsity Most Outstanding), Celeste Flores and Luke Leon Guerrero (Varsity Coach's Award), Mandy Greco and Dave Seo (Varsity Most Versatile), Joseph Buehler (JV Most Improved), and Natalee Winberg (Frosh | Soph Most Improved), all demonstrating exceptional skill and leadership throughout the season.

In addition to individual awards, the team celebrated collective achievements, including Freeway League and CIF championship victories, personal bests, and individual records. The event also featured a photo booth, providing an opportunity for student-athletes and their families to capture cherished memories from the night.

"We are incredibly proud of the accomplishments of our student-athletes and grateful for the unwavering support of our families and boosters," said Head Coach Summer Driessen. "The Awards Banquet was a fitting tribute to the dedication and hard work that each member of our team has demonstrated throughout the season."
