NEW ADDITIONS :: Gary Cheever and Lauren Hoyle Set to Join Troy High School Swim Coaching Staff for 2024 Season

Fullerton, CA - As the Troy High School aquatics program eagerly awaits the upcoming 2024 season, the arrival of two seasoned coaches, Head Coach Gary Cheever and Assistant Coach Lauren Hoyle, has added a new dimension to the Warriors swim team.


Head Coach of Troy's Water Polo teams, Gary Cheever, brings over 14 years of coaching experience, a track record of success, and a passion for nurturing athletes to reach their full potential. His coaching journey spans high school, college, and club levels, with notable achievements including league championships, CIF Finals, and guiding players to prestigious universities like Stanford.


Coach Cheever shared, "I am thrilled to be part of the Troy Aquatics family. The dedication and talent within this program are truly remarkable. I look forward to contributing to the success and growth of these exceptional student-athletes."


Lauren Hoyle, Assistant Coach for Girls Water Polo and Swim, adds a vast wealth of expertise to the coaching staff. Her journey from a standout player at Claremont High School to a collegiate athlete at Azusa Pacific University demonstrates her commitment to the sport. With a coaching stint at Raptor Club Water Polo and a significant impact at Claremont High School, Coach Hoyle is well-equipped to inspire and guide Troy's athletes to new heights.
